Tea for two and two for tea!

<----- Tea bag holders by Stampin' With Linz

The fun mommies at Mommies United have cooked up a little tea party for mommy bloggers. My daughter is currently whipping up a batch from the bathroom sink (pictures to come)! In addition to my love of Mexican food, wakeboarding, and writing, I have to add stamping to the list! I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for almost 3 years and am in love with all paper crafts. In fact, some of the awesome ladies at Splitcoast Stampers inspired me so much with their awesome blogs, I just had to join the blogging club! One of the cutest (and most time-saving) projects I like to make are tea bag holders. These are great little goodies to make for teacher gifts, shower favors, Valentines, Easter, Mothers' Day....you name it! I found these two awesome blogs by fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators and wanted to share these cute tea bag holders with you in honor of the tea party! Pinkies up to you, ladies!!

Hi Erika,

Just read your comments on my blog regarding the one year anniversary of the death of your mom. I left comments for you there but thought I'd also leave comments for you on your very own blog to ensure you see them. My heart goes out to you today. I know what it's like to lose a parent. It's hard not to feel cheated and wronged and that you're just way too doggone young to have lost your parent. Almost nine years after the passing of my father I still have those types of feelings. That said, over the years it has gradually gotten easier for me to deal with and really has taught me some very valuable life lessons. (Cherish every moment with the ones you love, tomorrow is not promised live today to the fullest)
Sorry to hijack your comments section but what you said hit home and I just wanted to let you know that I'll be thinking about you and wishing you all the best on this day.
Please take care of you!

I am in LOVE with those tea bag holders! I would never have thought of those, and I am gonna go and make some myself for my friends. My best friend is having a baby shower in May, and I need to get started on some cute party gifts!

I hope you are doing well, and that you know that people all over are thinking about you and sending out warm cyber hugs!... and tea.

Warm Blessings,
Lilith

Okay, now how cute are these?!?!?!? Thank for the great idea! Being a crafty sort myself, the chronic sleep-deprivation that comes with being a mom has really cut into my creative juices and bummed me out. Thank heavens for nifty girls like you!

Come and have a sip at my tea party when you get a chance - http://threepsinapod.blogspot.com/2008/03/tea-for-two-or-more.html#links
